1. Blue Ridge Parkway Traveling Northward from Asheville

Continue northward past Mount Mitchell State Park. Once you pass the Little Switzerland exit you will continue to travel 13 miles on the Blue Ridge Parkway. At about the 13^th mile you will see two small roads that exit the parkway-take either road to the right. Neither road is marked on the parkway. The first one is Parkway Road, the second one is Donald Barrier Street. Both of these roads travel a very short distance until they dead end into HWY 183. Turn left. Travel on HWY 183 until it dead ends into another highway-HWY 181. Turn right. Travel 3.5 miles until you see the entrance into Upper Creek Acres on your left. Turn into the neighborhood. Shortly after passing through the gate, you will take a road that climbs steeply to your left called Turtle Rock Road. Follow Turtle Rock Road up and up until you see a sign for SKY HOUSE on you left.

2. Blue Ridge Parkway Traveling Southward from Boone

Continue southward beyond Moses H Cone Memorial Park. Once you pass the Linn Cove Viaduct you will continue to travel approximately 14 miles on the Blue Ridge Parkway. At about the 14^th mile you will see two small roads that exit the parkway-take either road to the left. Neither road is marked on the parkway. The first one is Donald Barrier Street, the second one is Parkway Road. Both of these roads travel a very short distance until they dead end into HWY 183. Turn left. Travel one HWY 183 until it dead ends into another highway-HWY 181. Turn right. Travel 3.5 miles until you see the entrance into Upper Creek Acres on your left. Turn into the neighborhood. Shortly after passing through the gate, you will take a road that climbs steeply to your left called Turtle Rock Road. Follow Turtle Rock Road up and up until you see a sign for SKY HOUSE on your left.

3. From Charlotte or from Morganton, North Carolina

Travel on Interstate 40 until you reach the town of Morganton, North Carolina. In downtown Morganton you will see signs for HWY 181. Follow HWY 181 for approximately a 1/2 hour until you see an entrance to Upper Creek Acres on your right. Turn into the neighborhood. Shortly after passing through the gate, you will take a road that climbs steeply to your left called Turtle Rock Road. Follow Turtle Rock Road up and up until you see a sign for SKY HOUSE on your left.

4. From Johnson City and Elizabethton

From Johnson City travel to Elizabethton on 321 North. Once in Elizabethton, follow 19E South crossing into North Carolina. After about 24 miles you will turn onto NC 194 to Newland. You will reach Newland in about 5.5 miles. Once you are in Newland, you will turn left at a stop light onto HWY 181, also called the Newland Highway. Travel 3.5 to 4 miles and then turn right onto the Linville Bypass on your right-HWY 181/221. Travel on HWY 181/221 until you reach the small township of Jonas Ridge. Travel another 2.5 miles until you see the entrance to Upper Creek Acres on your left. Turn into the neighborhood. Shortly after passing through the gate, you will take a road that climbs steeply to your left called Turtle Rock Road. Follow Turtle Rock Road up and up until you see a sign for SKY HOUSE on your left.
