Sky House Christmas Cabin Package

Sugar Plum Farms
Sugar Plum Farms

Guest staying at Sky House for two or more nights receive a voucher redeemable at Sugar Plum Farms for a Fraser Fir Christmas Tree.   The Fraser Fir, occasionally called Balsam Fir, is indigenous to the Blue Ridge Mountains and widely used as a Christmas Tree as its fragrance, appearance, strong twigs, and ability to retain its soft needles for a long time when cut (which do not prick easily when hanging ornaments) make it an excellent choice for this purpose.Sugar Plum Farms is a family locally owned and operated North Carolina Fraser Fir Christmas tree farm roughly 15 miles from Sky House. Christmas tree farms have environmental benefits. They replenish the environment's oxygen supply, serve as wildlife habitat, increase soil stability and provide a valuable and aesthetically pleasing improvement to the land. Christmas trees are frequently planted on barren slopes or under power lines where no other crops will grow. Winter nature  can be awe inspiring. Christmas Tree Farms can provide an ideal way to experience the wonder and beauty of winter nature.

The Sky House Christmas Tree Package rates are as follows:

$125/per night (minimum 2 nights stay) at Sky House plus a free Fraser Fir Christmas tree from Sugar Plum Farms.
(plus a $75 cleaning fee and taxes). Each additional night is $75.
