We have enjoyed the outdoors collectively and individually for over twenty years. Our children have joined us on mountaineering trips to Washington, California and throughout the Southeast. We have climbed in Wyoming, Mexico, Utah, Oregon and North Carolina. We have a deep love for the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Sky House was intended to provide simple, stylish, and affordable lodging to lovers of the outdoors. Sky House is minutes off the Blue Ridge Parkway and sits on the edge of the Pisgah National Forrest. It provides ample opportunity for cycling and hiking. We lived in Asheville, North Carolina for 10 years. Sky House is roughly one hour from Asheville, allowing weekenders the pleasure of exchanging "Into the Wild" for the rich, urban cultural experiences of Asheville or "the San Francisco of the South." When we visit Sky House, we are inspired, we are returned to the earth, we are comforted, and we are once again alive
